This monocrystalline 180 Watt solar module features 15.5% encapsulated cell efficiency and 13.7% module efficiency. Using breakthrough technology perfected in Sharp's space cell program, the NU-SOE3E solar module allows for maximum usable power per square metre of solar array.

Based on the technology of crystal silicon solar cells developed over 45 years, this solar module has superb durability to withstand rigorous operating conditions and is suitable for grid connected systems or remote power applications using Maximum Power Point Tracking solar regulators to charge batteries.

For standalone applications, we have solar regulators available to suit this panel, but please note that a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) regulator that allows a lower voltage battery to be charged from a higher voltage array is required.

Through a MPPT regulator of this type, a single NU-S0E3E would be suitable for charging a 12V battery bank. Two (2) of these modules connected in series would be required for a 24V battery bank and three (3) or four (4) modules in series for a 48V battery bank.

Suitable MPPT regulators we have available include the Blue Sky Energy SB3024Di, Xantrex XW60-MPPT, the Outback FM60 (formerly MX60) and Outback FM80.
