Smart multistage battery charger with charging design particularly suited to 12 volt wet-cell batteries.

The unit may quite safely be used to bulk charge gel or AGM batteries, although it is not advised to leave such batteries connected to the charger for extended periods of time (ie. for a few days or longer).
